BE A BLANKETEER
It is easy to help Project Linus. Simply make a blanket and donate it to your local chapter of Project Linus. Your blanket will be given to a child in need.
Our volunteers, known as "blanketeers", provide new, handmade, washable blankets to be given as gifts to seriously ill and traumatized children, ages 0-18.
All styles & sizes of blankets are welcome, including quilts, tied comforters, crocheted or knitted afghans in child-friendly colors. Although Project Linus accepts any size quilt or afghan, I prefer not to have them smaller than 36x36.
Monthly Blanket Day
Blanket Day is where blanketeer volunteers can come and learn knitting, crochet, sewing & quilting techniques. There is no experience necessary and there is something all can do.
Blanket Day is the 3rd Tuesday of every month.
