Dear Project Linus
Recently my 10 year old daughter found herself needing emergency surgery. When she was admitted to BMH, they presented her with this beautiful red & yellow quilt. Her Girl Scout troop has donated blankets to your organization, but never does one think they'll be on the receiving end. You can be assured that she was comforted by this gift. Thank you for your servce to the families of Kern County and around the country.
God Bless,
Becky Wilson
Dear Project Linus,
My name is Allison Wilson and I am 10 years old and I had to get my appendix out about 2 weeks ago and when I got to the hospital I was scared a little bit and when I got that quilt I new I was going to be fine. So I just wanted to say thank you so so so so much.
Sincerely,
Allison Wilson
I wanted to take the time to thank you guys for the blanket my son received during his stay in the hospital. He was having acute breathing problems and when we were given the blanket it brought a smile to our faces. It really lifted our spirits and gave us hope. Thank you very much for taking the time out of your lives to bring a smile to a child’s face.

Dear Project Linus Volunteers-
I wanted to thank you for the love, time, and energy you spent on my son’s blanket. A few days ago, Gann (who turns 2 years next month) was admitted to the ER at Mercy SW hospital for difficulty breathing. The nurse gave us one of your blankets, and the blanket was a blessing to us both! My husband, who works for the fire department, is stationed out of town. I told him there was no need to leave work; I didn’t think we would be at the hospital long, Eight hours and one cozy fire truck blanket later, we were headed home. (Of course, the nurse who brought us the blanket didn’t know my husbands occupation, but God did!) The blanket you made serves as a daily reminder of God’s love and provision through people we have never met. May the Lord bless you for your kindness and talents! Many prayers and thanks to you all!

Dear Project Linus,
Thank you for the wonderful blanket given to my son at Mercy Southwest Hospital. Jack fractured his back at school and waited in ER for hours for a CAT Scan. A nurse brought a nice, warm blanket for him while he waited. The thoughtful touch made my 12 year old’s night. Thank you

Thank you to you and your organization. You are a true inspiration. The fact that you try to give back to those who are forgotten is amazing. I hope to make a difference in others lives as you do. Thank you. P.S. You Rock!
Mrs. Willis... I really like the idea of making blankets for comfort because I know what it feels like because I cannot live without my blue “blanky.” I really admire you, your sister and everyone else on the project.
