We want to make this a special day as we remember those that have and are serving our country. If you have a special memory of someone that helped at Ground Zero in New York or has served or is serving our country. We will have a short program to pay tribute to these great Americans. Please join us to help serve the special needs of children in our area.

·        Please bring scissors/sewing machine & accessories.

·        You may bring completed blankets ready to donate.

·        Fabric (cotton, flannel, fleece) batting (not stuffing) in 1
         ½ yard lengths and yarn may be donated.

·        NO EXPERIENCE NECESSARY All help is
          appreciated & you do not have to bring anything to
          participate.

·        All styles of blankets may be donated….crocheted,
         knitted, flannel, quilted, fleece.

·        Blankets  preferably not smaller than 45x36

·        Blankets are for infants through teen years, so any size
         is appropriate.

LDS Church on "A" St. 9a.m. - noon
Mercy Hospital 6p.m. - 9p.m. on Truxtun Ave, Clerou Room. Go through main doors of hospital & look left, there it is!

Come join us. Bring a project or come help label and bag blankets. There is something for all to do. All blankets to benefit children of Kern County
