We want to make this a special day as we remember those that have and are serving our country. If you have a special memory of someone that helped at Ground Zero in New York or has served or is serving our country. We will have a short program to pay tribute to these great Americans. Please mail your memory to Michele Willis, 10720 Palm Ave, Bakersfield, CA 93312.
Please join us to help serve the special needs of children in our area.
· Please bring scissors/sewing machine & accessories.
· You may bring completed blankets ready to donate.
· Fabric (cotton, flannel, fleece) batting (not stuffing) in 1
½ yard lengths and yarn may be donated.
· NO EXPERIENCE NECESSARY All help is
appreciated & you do not have to bring anything to
participate.
· All styles of blankets may be donated….crocheted,
knitted, flannel, quilted, fleece.
· Blankets preferably not smaller than 45x36
· Blankets are for infants through teen years, so any size
is appropriate.
· Learn how to crochet, quilt - Knitters & Crocheters
welcome.

Monthly Blanket Days
LDS Church on "A" St. 9a.m. - noon
Mercy Hospital 6p.m. - 9p.m. on Truxtun Ave, Clerou Room. Go through main doors of hospital & look left, there it is!
Come join us. Bring a project or come help label and bag blankets. There is something for all to do. All blankets to benefit children of Kern County
